I love X’s & O’s! I usually add them to my emails and notes to friends. So it only made sense to take these sweet symbols of kisses and hugs to celebrate this Valentine’s Day. When Tracy Furey, the Executive Producer of WFSB’s Better Connecticut asked me to do a Valentine’s segment, the X’s & O’s concept felt so right!

I started by baking X & O sugar cookies, using a wonderful recipe from My Recipe Box. Please check it out! The dough is the same, and only the shape and the sugar crystals are different. I found the copper cookie cutters and the pink sugars at www.coppergifts.com. These cookies are perfect to wrap up for gifts as well as using them for your decor. Everyone at the WFSB studio loved the look of the cookies tied onto beautiful flowering Quince branches. I love the look for so many occasions beyond Valentine’s Day….Anniversary parties, bridal and baby showers immediately come to mind.

We’ve added printable X’s & O’s Valentine’s tags, card, and flag banner to our Goodies. And of course, they’re my gift to you! xo

And if you’re looking for a no-calorie Valentine’s gift for your sweetie and BFF’s, give them little or big HUGS & KISSES! Other than the real thing, I’m talking about my newest additions to my Nora Murphy Country House Soy Candle Collection! Please do check them out here.

Sending you X’s & O’s dear friends!

Love, Nora
