Decorating and styling a home goes beyond the focus of an individual room.  It’s important to stand back, and at various points, look ahead to see what’s in your line of sight as you enter a space.

Sightlines are very important to address when considering the visual flow of a design.  Whether it’s the view from one room into another, or looking out a window to the world beyond, it’s all about how one area relates to the next.

Paying attention to this, allows the entire design of the space to work seamlessly and beautifully together.

Happy decorating!

Love, Nora

I could not agree more Nora the scope and value of how things relate has the ability to create visual harmony or the lack of such. Bravo this is a lovely view. P.S. I secretly covet those wing chairs as well the fabric is fabulous a crewel I believe.
