Dress it up. The moment I spotted this set of 8 silver plated cups with fanciful handles I knew it would make my place settings look absolutely fabulous! Of course, they need to be filled with something simple – yet impactful. For the holidays, I’m thinking rich red carnations. They’re incredibly inexpensive, full of volume and texture, and last quite a long time!

I love the wonderful tarnished patina of the cups, so all I have to do is wedge a small block of water soaked oasis into each and add just a little more water. Take each carnation stem and snap the stem to the height of the cup and poke into the oasis. I’ve found that 3 blossoms are perfect.

You can personalize each place setting by adding custom placecards that can be tied to the handles or tucked into the flowers. We’ve created special holiday place cards that can be downloaded on noramurphycountryhouse.com/goodies, and printed out on your home printer.

(P.S. This pretty set of silver-plated cups will be available on my Hunt Club tomorrow morning!)

How easy is that?!

Love, Nora
