Faux flowers, used in balance with the real thing, can so beautifully compliment your front door. I love using flowers – real or faux – that represent what’s in bloom at the moment. Keeping this rule of thumb in mind, keeps every passer by guessing whether its real or not.

Early spring is a perfect time to decorate your doors with faux, since it’s too cold for the real thing. Also, mid-summer, when it’s just way to hot to keep up with the watering, faux can be the perfect solution!  Better Connecticut co-host, Scot Haney, joined me in creating an elegant springtime wreath and a summertime country bucket arrangement for my 2 front doors.

Please enjoy!

Love, Nora
