Maria’s Covet Style
My friend Maria’s country house has a style that truly epitomizes who she is. Like her home, this guest bedroom embodies grace, charm and simple elegance. Just like Maria, its style is warm and welcoming.
European fashion inspired, particularly French, it’s a place where layers of pretty, rustic and elegant flea market and auction finds, come together to form a romantic collection. From the French iron daybed, cabinets with carved details, to the little smalls that tell wonderful stories depending on how she styles them together, it’s a space that’s all about weathered patinas and a calm color palette that soothes the soul. Very lucky guests.
Her personal style combined with her unique finds is what beautifully ties every space in her home effortlessly together.
As founder and owner of Covet Antiques, Maria has created a lifestyle where she can share her love and keen eye for the unique, in addition to her talent in styling and design.
To see more of Maria’s Covet style, check out her website www.covetantiquesct.com, find her on Etsy, or if you find yourself in the area, check out her space at The Stratford Antiques Center, Stratford, CT. where I know that you’ll discover something wonderful!

Hi Nora. I believe I visited her place on the Newtown House and Garden Tour! What a great sense of style. She had a little “booth” set up outside, with items from “Covet.” Thanks for providing the information about her antiques shop and Etsy site. Will visit! Mary
