While pops of black add a modern, graphic note to the freshly painted white rooms of Connecticut Country House, touches of warm gray, a wonderful neutral, add a soft sophistication and a soothing sense of calm.

Elements of silvery weathered wood, and the baskets in particular, give the spaces an outdoor garden vibe that I love so much.

Go ahead. Add a little gray to your life. It’s not a dark cloud anymore…it really lightens things up!

Happy decorating!

Love, Nora

It appears that your gray is natural grays; baskets, buckets, placemats, etc.
I didn’t see any paint in gray. Is this correct? You will need to show us the use of grays.
    Thanks.

I have had different shades of grey for about 7 or 8 yrs. now,and will never have anything else. White or cream trim and your accessoriy colors are endless. What fun.

Love it. Very soft and the lavender flowers on chairs are so nice.

I realize this is an old post, & since we have been thru the “all gray, everything gray” trend now for several years, I almost passed it up. So glad I didn’t! I LOVE your use of grays. I do this in my home also. No gray walls or upholstered furniture or flooring. Just the natural weathered stuff. Thanks for this!
