Hello, July!

At Connecticut Country House there’s so much to do, to celebrate, to be grateful for during the month of July. Welcoming the warm weather. Picking perfectly ripe, juicy, flavorful berries right off the plants – two for me, one for the basket. Creating big beautiful bouquets from a bounty of blooms from the garden. Fourth of July picnics. Weeding the kitchen garden, brushing against a tomato plant and smelling the promise of what’s to come in a few short weeks. Impromptu gatherings and cookouts that just seem to happen. Appreciating time to spend relaxing with family and friends.
