I woke up a bit disoriented this morning. Not quite awake, I heard the wind whipping around as loud as a freight train. I mustered up the courage and peeped out of hooded lids. The light in the bedroom seemed extra bright. Snow. It took me a minute to do a mental check. Oh yeah, Spring in Connecticut.

The same soft pines that I love for their evergreen beauty, snap with every storm. We are once again without power.

From my trusty iPhone, I wish you all a lovely day!

Love, Nora

The winds were so distressing to me last night, I could not sleep. You are correct in your description- a freight train. It was as if noises from a scary movie to trying to get into my bedroom! The wind is calming now, but the spring flowers are begging me to come in! Well-l we will all be asking where the cold is when it is 90 degrees or more!
