“Here and there one sees the blush of wild rose haws or the warmth of orange fruit on the bittersweet, and back in the woods is the occasional twinkle of partridge berries. But they are the gem stones, the rare decorations which make the grays, the browns and the greens seem more quiet, more completely at rest.” – Hal Borland

A big tangle of freshly cut bittersweet vines renews the old twiggy wreath that I hauled out of the barn this morning, and instantly makes my front door Thanksgiving ready!

Ah…the magic of bittersweet.

Happy decorating!

Love, Nora

I love bittersweet. I also use it with pine for winter decorating.
Blessings to you and your family.
