It’s a bittersweet time for me as a die-hard gardener. I love autumn, but I have to be honest that I have a hard time letting go of summer! It’s that time of the season when the flower gardens are in their final burst (that is until the asters debut!).

Weeding, pruning, staking, and watering gives me an up-close and personal POV into my summertime beauties. I so appreciate every bud, petal, and deep hue. Here’s a little peek into what’s in glorious late summer bloom right now at Connecticut Country House.

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Love, Nora
