Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love.” — Sitting Bull

Happy first day of spring! Even though there’s still plenty of snow on the ground here at Connecticut Country House, the spring season officially kicks off today with plenty of projects scheduled in the upcoming months.

You know the saying; March comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb? We’re definitely in lion mode this month! This past weekend we were busy bees dying Easter eggs and setting a happy, fresh spring table for WFSB’s Better Connecticut. Tomorrow, WFSB’s Scott Haney and his cameraman Eric are coming to shoot Easter segments (look for upcoming blog posts that’ll show you all the details!) for their lifestyle show, and we’ll be ready. Next weekend, we do a complete about face, and re-deck the halls (complete with Christmas trees) at Connecticut Country House for Country Living magazine’s 2017 Holiday issue! Can you believe it?! It hasn’t hit me yet…I first need to get through Easter tomorrow!

Here’s to making the very most of this brand new season!

Love, Nora
