Recipe Notes (yields 1 pint)


2 cups sliced cucumbers (¼ ̎ slices)
¾ cup finely sliced onions
½ cup sugar
½ cup white vinegar
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon mustard seed
¼ teaspoon celery seed
¼ teaspoon turmeric


Put all the ingredients in a microwaveable bowl.

Microwave 3 minutes, then stir. Another 3 minutes in microwave, and stir again.

Microwave 2 minutes more and it’s ready to spoon into your canning jar.

Be sure to close the lid tightly and refrigerate.
