A New England Holiday at The Little Shop
At the end of July we moved The Little Shop from Main Street in Chester, CT (where we established the shop in 2022) to a new mid-19th century home on Main Street in Essex, CT. The beautiful building gave us the opportunity to feature a variety of my Country House styles. Coincidentally, the house’s layout is quite similar to my own country house on the Connecticut River in Hadlyme. So I do feel quite at home.
We’ve been so happy to welcome friends, family, and new customers to our Essex home! So when Caitlin Frances of WFSB, CBS Channel 3 in CT contacted me to take a holiday tour of The Little Shop – all decked out – we couldn’t be more excited to be able to share our holiday decor with friends near and far!

Nora, I absolutely loved this tour of your new shop. Everything looks so festive and I got some ideas for decorating here at home near Seattle. I wonder about the dimensions of the white swan, and how much it costs. Also could it be shipped?
