I love blooming branches in the spring, they make such a grand style statement! But sadly the flowers don’t last very long.

A few years ago I bought Quince branches for a photo shoot from my local floral supplier. They were stunning. I observed where on the branch the flowers budded from, so that after they faded I could replace them with faux flowers.

A trip to Michael’s is where I found faux blooming apple and cherry branches that I could purchase, pluck off the flowers, and simply hot glue them to the same spots the real flowers had been in. It worked! It was hard to tell that the flowers were not real!

Since then, I’ve done this over and over again, and love displaying them as an abundant bunch in a hanging basket on my front door, and a large glass vase indoors. Either way they make a great big beautiful statement!. Spring is here and I am so happy about that!

Please watch my how-to segment that was aired on WFSB, Channel 3 and see how easy it is to do!

Love, Nora
