Ah, June
I can’t believe it’s June! Where did May go? Well, here at Connecticut Country House this month is going to be absolutely nuts!
We kick-off the month with the fabulous Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck, NY. I’ll be presenting on the Main Stage Saturday, June 3 at 1:00 P.M. Also at the fair (Friday-Sunday) we’ll have our first Nora Murphy Country House shop filled with the most wonderful antique finds and garden, garden, garden! Please stop by and say hi! You may just find something you can’t live without.
The following weekend, we’re hosting a wonderful event at Connecticut Country House with Sacred Heart University’s WSHU, Sunday Baroque with Suzanne Bona. Suzanne (or Suzy as I call my long time BFF) is launching a brand new Sunday Baroque CD! I’ll be flowering-up the place and make it the very best I can make it for my dear, dear friend and our guests.
The following day (yes, I did say the following day!), I’ll be hosting WFSB, Better Connecticut’s Kara Sundlun for a couple of segments. I’ll be giving you and Kara a tour of the floral decorations for the WSHU party. And then I thought we could put on some muck shoes and gloves, and head for the kitchen garden to plant up some heirloom tomatoes!
A beautiful Country Curtains Giveaway will be coming this month…please keep an eye out for it for a chance to win!
We end the month with the Newtown Historical House & Garden Tour on Sunday, June 25. (*PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO SCHEDULING CONFLICT, WE WILL NOT BE ON THIS TOUR THIS YEAR. SO SORRY!)
