When I see a gorgeous flowering plant, I can’t resist taking her home with me. A couple of my faves that are sporting glorious blooms right now are the delphiniums and foxgloves. I always look for the most spectacular one of the bunch.

When I get home, I find just the right container – my bright sunflower yellow vintage wooden bucket is the perfect size for the job. I pop in a plastic liner, then the plant (in its plastic pot and all), and add moss to cover the top. Voila! Instant “wow” statement wherever I place her. (When she’s done blooming, I’ll add her into the garden.) How easy is that?!

Rule of thumb: You just need to pick the flower and container that really speak to you!

Happy gardening! Love, Nora

    I love this idea!

I have a galvanized tub that needs to be cleaned out and used! The ideas are rolling now!

    Thanks for the inspiration!
