Party time
I am proud to announce that Nora Murphy Country House – The Hunt Club Shop, has opened in the new multi-dealer Fairfield County Antique and Design Center (http://www.fairfieldantiqueanddesign.com), on Willard Road (right off the Post Road on the Westport/Norwalk Line) in Norwalk, Connecticut. The Antique and Design Center’s Grand Opening Party a week ago, kicked off a celebration for all of us dealers and designers to show off our new spaces, meet one another as well as lots of pretty fabulous collectors and shoppers.
For me and my team, The Hunt Club Shop is our decorating lab – a space that showcases our seasonally inspired finds within a Nora Murphy Country House lifestyle setting. Each season we’ll be on the hunt for beautiful and interesting collections, and unique, one of a kind elements for the home.
For our first season, we’ve created a cozy and romantic ‘Downton Abby’ vibe with rich layers of elegance and rusticity so there would be something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a little something to update your mantel, or need a key showpiece to anchor a wall…we’ve got it.
This season’s premiere showpiece in the shop is an authentic nineteenth century tartanware chest of drawers from Scotland, and is featured in the current issue of Nora Murphy Country House Style e-magazine (https://noramurphycountryhouse.com/magazine/winter-2014/country-house-style/#.Ux-yCihhodc). If you’re in the FCA&DC’s neck of the woods, please stop in and take a look. And if you fall in love with this rare tartanware beauty, please mention the blog, and say that Nora said you can get a 10% savings!
Happy Hunting!
Love, Nora
(P.S. If you would like additional info on the chest or the shop, please don’t hesitate to contact me.)
