My very favorite hostess gift is a big or small cut mixed bouquet of flowers, herbs, and greens from my perennial gardens.  Depending on the season, and the host’s or hostess’s personality, and of course, what’s blooming or thriving determine’s what I put together, and using a simple glass cylinder works for all. Stocking up on inexpensive glass cylinders in a variety of sizes (you can find these at a place like HomeGoods) is a good idea, this way you’ll always be prepared.

This pretty bouquet for my dear friend, Bernadette, is made up of various colored hydrangea (white, pink, lavender, and green), mint, butterfly bush, coneflowers, daisies, aster, zinnia, and Rose of Sharon. This color palette reminds me of her…very pretty and sweet!

This is just another reason why I love growing my gardens.

Happy gardening!

Love, Nora

Nora, How lovely. It may be me but it’s impossible to see this beauty in full because of the header. Am I missing something?
    Love everything you do,

That is also my favorite hostess gift to receive! I host my family’s dinners and one of my sisters-in-law always brings me the most beautiful vase of fresh-cut flowers from her gardens. Beautiful!

Love this idea. May I add one more thought, buy your vases at a local Charity Thrift Store. They usually have several and are a great deal. That way, you do double good. One for the charity and one for your friend. Thank you for this great idea.
