Ingredients

4 cups water

12 tea bags: Bigelow “I Love Lemon” Herb Tea

¼ teaspoon baking soda (cuts the bitterness of the tea)

½ cup sugar

12 cups cold water

Directions

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the baking soda and tea bags (I tie all 12 bags together with a piece of string). Cover, let it steep for 20 to 30 minutes, and then remove the tea bags. Stir in the sugar until it’s dissolved, and then add the cold water. Pour into a large pitcher and refrigerate. To serve, add ice directly to the glasses (not to the pitcher, it will water it down too much) and pour.
