Tartan Tin Picnic Basket

So colorful, so happy and fun…so perfect for entertaining! This vintage metal box/basket sports a bright red tartan pattern, and faux leather patches and lid. The interior is a bright, sunshiney yellow. I found a great way to use this piece (one of many). I took brown kraft paper lunch bags and rolled the tops of the bags to create containers for snacks. The beauty here is not just wonderfully visual, but also in the clean-up. Once the bags are empty, crunch them up and throw them away! Easy peasey!
