Sue Beever’s Handloomed Vintage Coverlet

A true heirloom. The overshot loom weave of this stunning artisan made French Vanilla-hued wool coverlet is truly a one of a kind. When I first spotted it, I thought it was a 19th c. blanket. But at close inspection, down at the bottom of the piece, the weaver Sue Beever’s had woven her name into it (see photo), the date 1979, as well as the names of the receivers: Wills Isaac Traux And Ruth Vedder Traux His Wife. How lovely. This blanket/coverlet is quite generous in scale, and is in like new condition!
