It had me at the wallpaper! The hand blocked early 19th c. wallpaper featured on 4 sides of this antique wood box reminds me of sea fans and coral. Such a lovely color combo of Greige, Creamy White, and Turquoise Blue. The top has a remnant of its original wallpaper – more of a medallion pattern. The interior sports antique newspaper lining on the lid’s interior and parts of the interior. The wood box is quite sturdy and looks like it was originally a shipping crate. What a fabulous piece to top a cabinet, or tuck under a bench or console table!
