Stuart Tartan Sewing Box
I am a tartan lover. So when I discovered tartanware years ago, you can just imagine how elated I was! Tartanware is the name given to wood objects covered in tartan papers and sold as Scottish souvenirs. Scotland has always drawn tourists because of the natural beauty of the area. This Clark’s sewing box is covered in Stuart tartan paper with the tiny word ‘Stuart’ decoupaged on the front of the lid. Inside there are 3 Royal Blue compartments with the original Clark & Co. label. Love this hardworking piece!
