Light and warm. I found a gorgeous vintage tablecloth that was sprinkled with an all over pattern of violets in the most beautiful rich colors of Royal purples, Robin’s Egg blue, and Spring greens, with a pure creamy white ground. (In perfect condition, of course!) “What beautiful pillows this would make!”, I said to myself. To represent spring in a pillow, the front is a fresh floral cotton (like that of a springtime blouse), and a warm and softly wooly contrasting backing of a green twill wool (like a lightweight sweater). I love this juxtaposition!
