I love that the first impression of my Connecticut Country House is not only visual in the spring, but beautifully fragrant as well. I’ve planted Viburnum shrubs at the head of the main stone path to the house, so that you’re sweetly welcomed with pretty and fragrant frothy snowball flowering branches.
Scent: Soft and fresh with an undertone of baby powder and vanilla.
Did you know that these sweet flowers represent happiness and luck? Spring wouldn’t be the same at Connecticut Country House without them peeking out from one of my shadier gardens.
Scent: Lily of the valley with a hint of carnation.
The French Lilac shrubs are what I impatiently wait for each spring. It amazes me just how much one cut flower stem can fill a room with its sweetest scent! And when it’s an abundant bouquet, the entire house (and my family) is in for a treat!
Scent: Sweet and pretty, a true lilac scent.
Natural soy wax, fragrance oils, and an aura of calm and quiet.
