Spring Botanical Vintage Matelasse

Rare find. This gorgeous vintage creamy white cotton matelasse coverlet has the most beautiful woven raised motifs of daffodils, lilies, peonies with graceful fern fronds. The deep 9” border is made up of a zig-zag, small diamond quilting, and a herringbone twill edge. The quilt’s 2 side edges are machine surged and have some frayed holes at the edge. This piece would make a beautiful bed covering or unique tablecloth. Love.
