‘Song Birds’ Hand Decoupage Giant Scallop Shell

It’s all in the details. Lisa McCabe lives in a 1720 cape in Lyme, Connecticut and is a mixed media artist inspired by all things wonderfully old and vintage. Lisa developed a passion for paper at a young age and uses a variety of mediums, techniques and surfaces to create works of art with a touch of whimsy. She doesn’t think outside of the box; instead she looks at the box and thinks about what she can do with it. In this case it’s a giant scallop shell that has been totally transformed into a work of art. Every little detail tells a story.
