Red, White, & Blue Early 19th c. Platter
Fall in love with something centuries old. This gorgeous early 19th c. deep platter was a love at first sight moment. Bought from a New York estate, this piece has all the beautiful attributes of an 18th c./early 19th c. platter. It’s softly shaped oval form is handpainted with a navy and tomato red border, along with tiny dots and diamonds. The navy urn is complete with swags and flowers – all within a circle of tiny naive leaves. This piece is truly the best example of rustic elegance.
