Form & function. This fabulous large scaled basket is crafted of galvanized metal with copper handles and must have been used for harvesting anything from olives and grapes to clams and oysters. For me, this beauty has a country house attitude through and through, and would serve a very useful purpose of holding firewood and kindling.
