The real deal. This wonderful old woven splint basket has a beautiful round form that is lined with an ancient cotton calico liner! It’s affixed to the interior of the basket with small nails. I love the Chartreuse Green ground color of the cloth with tiny flowers and very thin vines/branches strewn in an all-over pattern. The basket also sports a hinged handle. This whole piece is a little time capsule! Love the whole thing.
