Good ingredients. This wonderful vintage salt box is made of ironstone and has the prettiest blue stenciling! The word “Salt.’ is graphic and clear. Some time ago, it was well loved and used daily due to the discoloration and crazing on the bottom of the interior. Other than that and a ¾” chip on the edge of the bottom (that cannot be seen until you turn the piece over), it’s surface is in pristine condition.
