History with a touch of whimsy. I found this unique piece at Brimfield. I instantly fell in love with its whimsical inky blue flower. I had never seen a drawing like that on an antique cobalt blue salt glazed stoneware crock before! (And haven’t since!) This crock is quite sizeable – very hearty and sturdy. It has a long crack on its backside that has had an old repair at the base of it. A beautiful piece ready to be displayed!
