MacDuff & Gordon Tartanware Eggs

I am a tartan lover. So when I discovered tartanware years ago, you can just imagine how elated I was! Tartanware is the name given to wood objects covered in tartan papers and sold as Scottish souvenirs. Scotland has always drawn tourists because of the natural beauty of the area. These eggs are covered in MacDuff and Gordon tartan paper with their tiny names decoupaged on the front. I love how beautifully the mitered tartan papers are pieced together on the wooden egg forms. Inside each one are tiny wooden spools of thread. Love.
