Joyful Garden Tole Tray

Painted exuberance. This richly decorated vintage toleware serving tray features a stunning hand-painted floral basket motif set against a deep dark ground. The rectangular metal tray is adorned with intricate scrolling foliage and layered floral forms rendered in warm reds, golds, and earthy tones. Cut-out handles and a softly raised rim make it both functional and decorative. It was likely produced in Italy during the mid-20th century, this style of toleware was widely used for entertaining and cocktail service while also serving as a striking decorative accent. I’ve added a wire tray hanger if you choose to display it on a wall.
