Honeydew Hue Antique Splint Basket

A very special delivery.. This wonderful vintage splint basket retains its original soft Honeydew paint finish…and has a story! Found in Charleston, SC, on my flight back home to Connecticut I hand carried this piece as my “carry on”. Unfortunately for me, it didn’t fit in the overhead compartment, but fortunately for this sweet basket a kind and thoughtful attendant assigned it its own seat in the back of the plane.
