Holly Berry Red Antique Splint Basket

A rare find. I found this unique antique splint basket at Brimfield in September. I was immediately drawn to its gorgeous Holly Berry Red painted finish (inside and out). I also love the diagonal criss-cross weave of the wide splint. A pair of turned wood handles with wire make it handy to carry. What a great versatile piece!
