French & fabulous. I found this fabulous antique weathervane that once adorned the peak of a cottage in France. The subject matter is just so charming, so happy and incredibly personal and rare. I love the dancing couple, with the small child joining in and playing his simple horn. Handcrafted from metal, it’s wonderfully rusted with a very early repair (which I love!). It is solidly held by a clean rod and black base. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of folk art.
