This gorgeously painted and shaped pitcher was made in Italy, and signed A. Poggi/Firenze (along with its authentic import sticker). Its creamy white body is gracefully painted with vines, leaves (beautiful rich verdigris color), and berries, including strawberries. Inky blue painted stripes edge the top rim and handle. Miss, Mrs., or Mr. Poggi’s artistic hand has a happy, whimsical feel; Artful, yet incredibly practical as well. Serve refreshments in it, can easily hold a big bunch of flowers, and would beautifully hold the kitchen utensils that you keep by the stove!
