Good Scottie Tartan Quilt

Made with love. My friend Bonnie’s mom, Eloise (90+ years old!), lives in Maine, and made this beautiful quilt by hand years ago. I absolutely love her use of warm and colorful wooly tartans, and of course the stars of this incredible piece – the black wool Scottie pups! This quilt is padded with batting, and tied securely with red and black thread knots. It has a grey wool flannel backing and black wool piping along the 4 sides. The moment I saw this piece, I envisioned it on a wall as a piece of art. It surely is worthy. Love.
