Gardener’s Vintage Door Mat

A piece of art. I bought this beautiful mid-century doormat, made of wood and painted green (now a wonderful worn green) at an Antiques Show years ago. This piece has always had a two-fold usage: as a doormat for a special occasion, and hung on the wall as a piece of garden art! It has a high profile, with a sturdy mitred design – complete with a bristle brush (or what’s still left of it) on one side to clean soil off your gardening shoes. This is quite the rare find!
