Variations on a theme. I love tole trays. But I’m very picky as to what tray is cool and lovely, and what is not so lovely…and so not cool. I love this tray. The rich cream painted ground has age and the shape is somewhat unusual, and has a graphic quality. But it’s the stenciled fruit basket that truly won my heart. That pretty urn-like basket, the fruits being more tonal in color value and that pop of heart-shaped cherries just takes it over the top for me. Love.
