Hang out your shingle! This authentic shingle/sign is hand painted on a piece of wood that looks like stained Cherry Wood. The sign’s face is painted a rich Grass Green and a hand painted gilded edge. The letters have cut scribe marks that must have been scored at first before painting each letter. I love the finishing touch of the hand painted double lines and tiny egg & dart motif! It looks like it was originally screwed onto a surface, but those holes have long since been puttied. Everything about this is the real deal. Love.
