A rare estate find. Enoch Wood & Son created this fantastic transferware platter that is quite grand in scale and attitude. The center depicts (in great detail) 2 fishermen in their boat in a Dark Chocolate Brown coloration, and the raised rim is a montage of shells, goldfish in fish bowls, seaweed, flowers, leaves and feathers. The outer edge is scalloped and has 3 tiny spots where there have been repairs. Just so very beautiful.
