Material mix. I have a collection of vintage and decorator fabrics that have come into play. This beautifully patterned and colored wool crewel is from the Decorator’s Walk, in the D&D building, NYC. And the mellow cotton ticking is a vintage French fabric I found at the High Point Market in North Carolina. I asked Lucia to put them together and transform them into a beautiful accent pillow. The wool crewel is the star, and the French ticking “frames” the crewel with mitred corners, and also used for the back. I love this sweet pillow with the Chatham Flower Bouquet Pillow I’m offering today.
