Contrasting textures. Talk about unique! The moment I spotted this at Brimfield I knew it would be perfect for country house living! Quite substantial in scale and texture, the top portion is thatched with straw, and the base is wrapped with jute rope. This piece does not hold water, so you can see in the photo that we have a potted plant inserted with a plastic liner (a bunch of fresh cut flowers can be added by inserting a glass or plastic container as well).
