Copeland Spode’s ‘Newburyport’/Set of 8

Understated elegance. This set of 8 Copeland Spode ‘Newburyport’ soup bowls are made of fine English stoneware. I love the historical 1780 pattern design of rich bands of Emerald Green with a string of tiny belle flowers, an Armorial style crest as the central medallion which is a flower basket with bows and wreaths of laurel. And of course the gilded rims make them just so perfect.
