Connecticut Country House Planters

Consider the container. When I spotted this pair, I could not contain my excitement! (No pun intended.) To find a fabulous old planter with glorious aged patina, rust, and wear…and to actually see that it had a mate is pretty rare. I adore the grey metal boxes with all their rust and tatter that can be lifted out of the iron framework. The iron frame work consisted of a frame with slatted base, stylized cartouche feet, and a thick wire ‘X’ on each side that features a Tudor Rose at each intersection. Bring the garden indoors!
