Connecticut Country House Looking Glass
Picture perfect. This gorgeous handcrafted mirror was an amazing find at the Wilton Craftsmanship Show in Wilton, CT, years ago. Originally in an Oxblood paint, it adorned our entrance at my Connecticut Country House in Newtown for many years. When the old house went through Project Refresh, when most belongings became creamy white, so did this beauty. I repainted it with Annie Sloan’s White Chalk Paint. It turned out so beautifully. Now, in my new Connecticut River Country House, I have run out of limited wall space, and hope this beauty will make its way to a new home.
