A favorite. This tried and true antique splint basket has been a favorite of mine. A favorite for clustering potted coneflowers and daisies to decorate my old Irish farm table. It has a most wonderful old white wash finish, with original handles, nails, etc. Other than using it to house fabulous flowers when entertaining, it’s a great storage piece for throw blankets, magazines, and even kindling! This beauty appeared in my book, Nora Murphy’s Country House Style, as well as Country Home magazine, and the Country Living Fair. It’s very special.
