The effect is weathered and wonderfully worn. I love adding pieces to my decor that have character…a feeling for the past. This little 19th c. beauty has just that. The wood frame has the classic combo of black paint and old gilding. It’s a little wonky because of its age, and has an old string on the back for hanging. I just love it exactly as it is!
